Training for Freshers
The students specialized in Engineering and/or Business Administration
are provided rigorous training to transform them from college
student to a worthy member of the corporate world imbibing the
values of the Tata Group. The training program covers the following
skills:
Conceptual: software engineering related subjects,
data base concepts.
Quality: Quality standards and models (ISO 9000,
SEI-CMM), Software processes, Testing and Reviews
Technical: Languages(C, C++, Java, .Net, COBOL),
databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Data Warehousing, Business intelligence
and ERP tools. New Technology awareness: XML, Internet technology,
WAP, Bluetooth etc.
Behavioral: English language communication,
interpersonal skills, presentation skills etc
Fresher Training is perceived to be one of the best in Indian
IT industry.
Beyond fresher training: We conduct Continuous
Training Program (CTP) and Management Development Program (MDP)
on regular basis to keep our consultants abreast of the latest
needs of projects and technology. This is also done to mould them
for their roles as new Managers and for career progression with-in
the company.
Self-Learning: The organization has an excellent
library well stocked with books, journals, magazines and CDs at
all locations. We encourage and reimburse the expenditure incurred
by our employees in obtaining certifications such as Brainbench,
Microsoft, Oracle, Sun etc. We also reimburse the tuition fee
incurred by our employees in acquiring industry relevant higher
qualifications - degrees and diplomas. Our training labs are kept
open to all who request to use it for their technical updating
at their own time during off working hours and week ends. The
organization also provides reimbursement of professional body
memberships.
