The Challenge:
The airline uses Unisys hardware and software for its engineering and maintenance application and also for freight management system. The hardware used for engineering and maintenance system includes 2200/900 systems.

Following the merger of another major carrier with the airline, a unified engineering and maintenance system was confirmed as the corporate solution of choice, comprising applications based on Unisys 2200-series and IBM using DB2 database.
