Tata Infotech's signature capture and verification product, SignBANK won the CSI National Award for the best shrink-wrapped product for 1998.

SignBANK can either operate independently or be fully integrated with your existing application. Thus, you can view signatures on-line along with the transaction rather than verifying them at a dedicated terminal elsewhere. It uses a wide range of image scanners to capture signatures from existing signature cards. The digitized signature image data is compressed and stored for retrieval and display on user workstations.

SignBANK is an electronic signature storage and retrieval software package that overcomes the disadvantages of traditional systems like the card and microfiche. It can also be used to capture, store, retrieve and display other kinds of images that are used for identification purposes such as photographs, fingerprints, A4 sized documents, etc.

The New Generation SignBANK Windows NT solution

The New Generation SignBANK Windows NT solution offers facilities for electronic image storage and retrieval on PCs. This solution provides a user-friendly interface under Microsoft Windows for Workgroups/ Windows '95/ Windows NT client and uses the built-in networking features of Windows NT. Windows for Workgroup based third party applications can integrate the image display feature of SignBANK by using the SignBANK teller APIs.
