ClearBranch™

ClearBranch™ application is a complete, state-of-the-art, user friendly solution that enables you to effectively automate and streamline inward and outward cheque clearing process/workflow. This application works in conjunction with the widely accepted TPS20 document processing machine manufactured by Tata Infotech Ltd.

TheClearBranch™Application has been designed to meet RBI specifications for retail banking in India. Hence banks operating outside India can't use the application. The MICR Reader-Encoder Machines (hardware) can be used in any country where MICR clearing is being done. TIL has already sold around 3,000 machines in the Indian as well as overseas market.

ClearBranch™application is a product designed for a typical Indian bank branch to handle encoding of instruments (cheques /warrants) in outward clearing and the reconciliation of the instruments (cheque/warrants) received in Inward clearing from RBI.

ClearBranch™ is a very flexible application that can be easily customised to your current and future requirements. The application provides an easy way to load the data from an external source and enrich the captured information if required. It provides many easy ways to retrieve the stored information and allows you to format it as per your requirements. This allows you to easily integrate the system with your other in-house systems. It provides inbuilt reports, which are most commonly used in Indian clearing operations.

ClearBranch™ application provides an easy to use GUI. It offers customizable parameters to define your security and database backup requirements. It offers concise on-line help and meaningful error messages to assist you in effectively using the application.

The TPS family is a multipurpose document processor platform intended for distributed document or image capture operations. The TPS20 performs various functions like :
Auto-feeding of documents

• Reading the scalene details of documents
• Encoding information on documents
• Endorsing and/or stamping the documents,
• Sorting the documents to an appropriate pocket, etc.

The modular design of the TPS20 provides the much needed scalability and upgradability, thus ensuring more economical usage by allowing the system to grow by keeping pace with your needs. This inturn avoids the obsolescence of the basic TPS20 hardware. The machine caters to all your requirements such as auto-feeding of documents, reading the scanline, enc

coding information on the document, endorsing and/or stamping the document, sorting the documents to an appropriate pocket, etc.

The module allows a completely customisable workflow to capture scanline data of the cheques. It allows you to define your own sorting requirements and reconcile this data with the data sent by the clearing house. The user can generate various reports based on this verification.

• VGA monitor with preferably 800 X 600 resolution

This module allows you to customise your inward and outward workflows. It also permits activities like security enforcement for the system, workflow definitions for processing, setting customisable parameters and entering static data to be used by the system. Reports The application provides many inbuilt reports that are commonly used in clearing process. You can also generate custom hand-offs by using the download feature.
