ORG-MARG : Retail Outlet Information System (ROIS)

ROIS is a GIS based querying and information system with menus and navigation tools. The users can query, view and print various information about retail outlet locations, and their business and facilities etc., spread across different part of the city. ROIS consists of two packages namely Plotting system and Querying system. The plotting system will be used to plot all the retail outlet locations along with attribute information like City Code, ZoomNo and KeyValue, etc. on the digital city map with necessary validation. The querying system will be used to perform queries related to FMCG's, Durables etc., available in the system. This application is being developed using MapX and Visual Basic having MS Access as back-end.
