Tata
Infotech e-biz Centre at ITPL Bangalore, Completes One
Year

In
an effort to tackle growing e-Business opportunities, Tata
Infotech has established an exclusive e-Biz Centre at the
International Technology Park Ltd. (ITPL) campus, Bangalore.
The e-Biz Centre concentrates on providing solutions in e-Business
and Business Intelligence and addresses the evolving synergy
between the two.
On
completing one year, in November 2001, the e-Biz Centre, shows
healthy growth, having executed large multimillion projects
for prestigious clients across the world amongst others, including
a 24 X 7 online support to one of the world’s leading
publishers of online encyclopedia; web enabling the custom
processes of a leading manufacturer of flavors and fragrances
in Europe; developing a large and complex e-procurement product
for a US based niche e-procurement company and reengineering
the complex budgeting process of an international organization.
In
the e-Business space, the Centre specializes in providing
EIP (Enterprise Information Portals) and EAI (Enterprise Application
Integration) solutions with focus on the J2EE technology framework.
In Business Intelligence, the Centre focuses on creating Snap-On
BI solutions for specific verticals. Recently, Tata Infotech
Ltd. has implemented a prepackaged business intelligence solution
for a Telecom major. Four more implementations of this packaged
offering is expected in the next two quarters.
With

poised for healthy growth in 2002.
