HDFC Bank goes
live with Tata Infotech’s trade finance solution

HDFC Bank, Mumbai, has gone live with Tata Infotech’s imaging
and workflow IT solution for centralizing and automating the disbursement
of their letters of credit (L/C). HDFC Bank receives hundreds
of L/Cs on a given day and the application was developed to handle
the large volumes and workflow for the complex procedures involved.
The automated solution will bring in better
fiscal control for the bank and higher levels of service to its
customers.
Tata Infotech assisted in selecting the right
technology, software and subsequently developed the application
for the project.
