SAS India, Tata Infotech sign
pact

Business intelligence software major SAS India
has signed a strategic alliance with Tata Infotech, a systems
integrator, to jointly offer customer analytics and organisational
intelligence solutions.
Under the pact, SAS India would offer a range
of customer analytics and organisatinal intelligence solutions,
which would be integrated and implemented by the Tata group company
an SAS India release said here on Tuesday, quoting the company’s
head (marketing) George Varghese. The companies would mainly target
telecom, manufacturing, retail, banking financial services and
insurance sectors, Mr. Varghese said. SAS India is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of SAS Institute Inc, a global end-to-end business
solutions provider.
