Tata Infotech Q3
net profit up 35 percent

Tata Infotech has recorded a 35 per cent increase
in its net profit for the third quarter ended 31 December. The
Company has posted a net profit of Rs.8.38 crores for the quarter
ended 31 December 2000, up from Rs.1.87 crores in the corresponding
quarter of the previous year. Total income stands at Rs. 135.67
crores, up from Rs.118.87 crores in the corresponding quarter
of the previous year. The EPS for the third quarter is 4.56 as
compared to 1.02 for the corresponding quarter last year. For
the nine month period ended 31 December 2000, the company recorded
a net profit of Rs.13.95 crores and total income of Rs.376.63
crores.
