Tata Infotech in
black with Rs. 12 cr profit

Tata Infotech has bounced back into the black
in the quarter ended June with a net profit of Rs 12 crore compared
with a loss of Rs 1.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last
year. The profit was driven by a substantial rise in other income
of Rs 6.4 crore. This includes a profit of Rs 1.2 crore on the
sale of a fixed asset and a dividend income of Rs 3.9 crore. Total
income rose 41% to Rs 138.2 crore.
