Application Enhancement and application integration of a complex SAP R/3 version 4.6 C implementation.

The client, a fortune 500 company, is a leading packaged foods company serving grocery retailers, restaurants and food services. The organization already had SAP R/3 version 4.6 C installed. The real challenge came up in integrating the SAP application to its associated software like Manugistics, Logility, and HR modules of Peoplesoft. It was required to integrate all channels and business units on one common platform for seamless inter application communication. Tata Infotech provides maintenance support using an onsite-offshore model accessing the live environment through a VPN network. The hybrid model is leveraged to provide a cost effective solution for delivering the enhanced functionality with requirement gathering being carried out onsite and coding and bug fixing handled offshore.
