at Asia-Pacific Software Engineering Process Group (AP-SEPG)

Two technical papers from Tata Infotech were
chosen for presenting at the Asia-Pacific Software Engineering
Process Group (AP-SEPG) Conference. The conference organized by
The Hong Kong Software Process Improvement Network (HKSPIN) was
held on November 19 and 20th, in Hong Kong. HKSPIN was formed
in March 1995 with the objective of promoting open and free sharing
of knowledge and information in software improvement areas.
The paper on "Tools
and Techniques for Software Productivity Improvement"
by Mr. C. P. Tantry and Mr. Sujeet Gore and the paper on "Managing
IT Projects in a Challenging Environment" by Ms. T. Janaki
were well received at the conference.
In the forum IT professionals, executives and software industry
practitioners exchanged knowledge, experience and success stories
in software engineering, software process improvement and software
quality management for improving their organizations capability
in delivering systems and software that support business performance.
